At the outset you need to know

Moreover I need you to know that

Equally important as my previous statement

Much more interesting than the following pronouncement

The model boat that rests on the window ledge,

Its white sail tilting against a frosted windowpane

DESPITE

The shadow from the river guide's straw hat

Gliding down his neck

DESPITE

The trail of smoke drifting sideways across a silver lake

Indeed it is certain that all things come to an end

At last

Lastly

Death
