It darts under the bushes but I see it. And it looks at me. My dad looks at me. He says JESUS CHRIST I LOVE YOU and sometimes he just says JESUS CHRIST. Or the times when he says GODDAMN YOU, YOU MOTHERFUCKER KID. I see it peeking its head out. My dad. His tongue like a head sometimes, like when I see it coming out. A peacock.
