I did strip on film or else

under the hot light

do a steamy deliquescence.

I come home slick

with my own nervous system,

and Jean et Jean have smoked

the mirrors black.

 The girl in the film

 they're writing, Diablerie,

never acts. They weigh

me constantly for the role,

when I get home I tell them

I stand perfectly still

 all day and discard

a part

when anyone drops

a pearl necklace

 in the typewriter carriage.
